Abstract
Mobile ad hoc networks have no support infrastructure and show a highly dynamic character. Due to its mobility, multi-hop communication, energy limitation and uncertainty of wireless communication, data transmission in network, namely routing, becomes a key problem to be solved. Most existing routing protocols based on topology information have a weak extensibility and a bad support to QoS. To solve this problem, a new centre-control routing protocol with better extensibility is proposed in our study of ad hoc networking. Simulations and related analyses show that this protocol has a good extensibility and high delivery rate of packet in large-scale ad hoc network, and presents a useful means to support QoS routing in ad hoc network
