  • Abstract
Tests were performed with a light-vehicle diesel engine. Four representative operating conditions in 1600r/min speed have been considered. The influence of injection pressure, injection timing, and multiple injection strategies on the diesel engine emission characteristics and fuel consumption has been investigated. The results show that low NOx and soot emissions can be obtained in the condition of pilot-injection and post-injection. Through optimize injection pressure, injection timing, and multiple injection strategies can get a better trade-off between emission and fuel consumption.
