Abstract
Anycast service is an effective implement method of distributed services in ad hoc network. It can simplify the configuration and management of distributed services. It can further improve the robustness of ad hoc networks to use anycast services in highly dynamic topology environment. According to the features of ad hoc network, a new anycast routing protocol ARDSR is proposed in this paper. This protocol has a lot of advantages such as balancing traffic load, conserving network bandwidth and saving host energy. It accomplishes an effective anycast routing in dynamic ad hoc networks. The simulation results show that the protocol can get good performance in dynamic network environment.
