Abstract
This paper deals with a measure theoretical approach for robustness evaluation of complex systems. The presented measure-theoretical oriented method takes reference to functional structure of a system and enables an inclusion of logical system structure into robustness evaluation. By this concept a consistent robustness evaluation of embedded systems becomes possible. This allows besides the monitoring of robustness of main system a parallel monitoring of relevant embedded systems. The developed approach is an alternative to geometrical oriented evaluation methods by which geometrical distance functions or metrics are used for robustness evaluation.
