Abstract :
The Internet takes day after day more place in our lives. It is from now on, "the", medium we use, to exchange at work, at home or in a cybercafe. But that is not enough anymore. The explosion of telecommunication technology wired and wireless (cellular, radio, satellite), with IPv6, mobility emergence and the availability of multi-interfaces mobile routers, takes us along to what is called the ubiquitous Internet. The Internet anytime, everywhere and...for everybody. In this context, these multihomed equipments are now able to access the Internet via each of theirs interfaces through one or more Internet service provider. Multihoming brings new possibilities in routing process and traffic management. The advantages of this features has been explained. But there are still many questions. How to manage this new features? How to select the most accurate interface in a context aware manner? The ubique framework has been developed for multi-interfaces mobile station and later adapted to the mobile router. Yet, we still have to add to the ubique architecture the ability to support multiple care-of address just as different interfaces. This multi-tunneling support is evaluated using static policy routing in NEPL (NEmo Platform for Linux) environment
