  • Abstract
    High-speed railway systems start to be widely deployed. We review recent demonstrations of FBG sensors used for the strain measurement and axle-counting in high-speed railway systems. Pros and cons are compared in terms of feasibility and cost-effectiveness. Network issues are also discussed.
