Abstract :
The results of investigation of field emission from the developed low-voltage multitip carbon matrices coated with carbon nanoclusters are described. Incorporation of additional nanosized emitting centers at the emitting top surface of multitip carbon matrices yields high gain and the application of carbon clusters with lower work function as emitting material makes possible emitting arrays with a lower voltage
