Abstract
Q imaging refers to a new 2-D echosonography reconstruction algorithm in which the imaging process for a circular (or a sector) area using a circular (or a circular arc) array is the same as that for a rectangular area using a linear array when the holographic back propagation principle is applied. Some explanations about the circular-to-rectangular geometrical transform are given and possible geometrical presentations are discussed
