Abstract :
We will report the newest generation of fiber-optic femtosecond lasers capable of producing more than 50 μJ per pulse in a compact, robust form factor suitable for immediate deployment into industrial workstations. We will present performance and reliability data for our 1.55 μm wavelength, high energy (>;50 μJ per pulse) fiber based femtosecond laser systems. Furthermore, we will display proof-of-principle micromachining work done by our applications engineers that verifies the extraordinary advantage of operating in the femtosecond regime with a commercial-ready platform.
