Abstract :
Concrete is usually placed in summer period when environmental temperature contains 5...30degC. In this case physical-chemical transformations in concrete occur as it is supposed to be, however, environmental temperature is not always kept within this limits. In cases of placing concrete at low temperatures or for acceleration of concrete hardening different methods are used: chemical ones - introduction of addition agents, decreasing the temperature of freezing water; thermal ones - steaming and electric heating.the given method has some disadvantages. After the process of hardening the conductor is left in the concrete (it is several kilometres when constructing monolithic building) and because of small conductor section concrete heating occurs unevenly by volume that deteriorates concrete microstructure and as a result its total durability is decreased. Induction heating may be alternative to the application of heating conductor.
