Abstract
The Department of Cybernetics has developed over the last few years some simple mobile robots that can explore an environment they perceive through simple ultrasonic sensors. Information from these sensors has allowed the robots to learn the simple task of moving around avoiding dynamic obstacles. The paper reports some new work done to further improve the learning process for these mobile robots
