Abstract :
The potential of using thermophysical models as a means for ranking the influences of input variables related to the climate and the building envelope is demonstrated. The rankings obtained are then compared with those obtained from an identified parametric model. In general good agreement was found between the two techniques suggesting that there maybe potential for the use of simulation in this context
