Abstract :
We consider the minimum-variance filtering problem for estimating the state of networked control systems where both random measurement transmission delays and packet dropout may occur. Instead of following many existing published results that solve the problem using probabilistic approaches, we propose a non-probabilistic approach by stamping the measurements or packets. Both single-measurement and multiple-measurement packets are considered. Simulations are presented to demonstrate the performance of the filters designed.
