Abstract
This paper describes a DC/DC interactive power converter developed for photovoltaic power systems acting as the direct current power supply for a telecommunication system. This interactive power converter provides several new control functions: maximum power point tracking; load sharing control; automatic operation method with stopping; and fail safe. The developed power converter was applied in trials and good performance results were obtained
