  • Abstract
A W(inner) T(akes) A(ll) circuit of neural type with O(N2 ) interconnections capable of detecting the largest item in a list, is considered. The nonsymmetric crosstalk capacitances between all input pairs are proved to impact strongly on the WTA behaviour. Closed-form approximations of the critical values of defect capacitances are inferred and verified by numeric simulations
