Abstract :
A transient grounding grid numerical model is developed in this paper for calculation of grounding grip transient response fast and accurately. This model considers the ground as some conductor segments, each conductor section as a grounding unit. The transmission-line modeling method was used to this model. That is, each unit of grounding grid considered as a grounding body which contain inductance resistance and capacitance. Several cases with different energized position and excitation power are presented in this paper. This model is suitable for practical applications related to fault diagnosis.
