Abstract :
The noncompressor-based cooling system for medium-size telecom exchanges is an environmentally acceptable cooling system offering low energy consumption and low total cost. Telia began measuring energy flow in a small number of exchanges in 1990. The study attributed a large percentage of the total energy consumption to auxiliary equipment. Steps were therefore taken to modify existing sites and test new cooling technology
