Abstract :
In this paper, we present an analytical model to evaluate the throughput of IEEE 802.11 distributed coordination function in radio-over-fiber-based distributed antenna systems where multiple remote antenna units are connected to one access point by different-length fiber links. In the model, the unequal delay induced by different fiber length is involved with the consideration of mutual HN problems. The derived model shows good agreement with simulation results.
