Abstract :
This paper proposes a dual-frequency location scheme combining WLAN and RFID signals at different frequency bands to conduct indoor location together in radio-over-fiber (RoF) systems. Using dual-frequency method, the wallboard attenuation can be estimated more accurately. In particular, we propose three procedures for wallboard auto-detection and free-space propagation model calibration which perform a high-accuracy indoor location function.
