  • Abstract
    We proposed a hybrid TDM-PON scheme with orthogonal frequency division multiple (OFDM) downstream and single-carrier frequency domain equalization (SCFDE) upstream to achieve low-complexity and green access. Upstream and downstream 26.7km and point-to-point 83.7km standard single-mode fiber (SSMF) transmissions were demonstrated to verify its feasibility.
