Abstract
Skeletal muscle tissue plays an important role in human activity. Upon injury, the focal adhesion kinase (FAK) related pathways are key factor in myoblast fusion during recovery process. The stretch occurs in muscle cells and becomes the mediator of focal adhesion complexes. This purpose of this study was to investigate changes of cell adhesion force and adhesion work subjected to cyclic stretch. Results showed force and works increased with increasing stretch duration. The stretch effect may be a promoter of FAK expression.
