Abstract :
Wuhan City, as the capital of Hubei Province, has a great production of urban waste, which is still increasing slightly. The paper analyzed the management mode, collection and treatment, local policy/law of the city´s urban wastes. Then the application of reuse, reduce and recycle (3R) in UWM in Wuhan city was studied and the prospective was analyzed in four aspects, including initiative from citizens, policy direction from governments, motivation from company/industry and Education and habit cultivation. At last, the paper made some specific proposals.
