  • Abstract
    The article presents the "Living Craft Movement" in Mishima town at Fukushima and investigates the substances for community development towards the construction of sustainable society. "Living Craft Movement" is one of the community development activity started to encourage the town through the development of craft goods that is suitable for today\´s life with succeeding the traditional technique. In this town people has brought up independent and endogenous mind relating with nature organically. In Mishima community development is based on the resource circulation and the advanced model for the construction of the sustainable society based on traditional "Living Craft Movement".
