Abstract :
A new discrete system model is constructed for the wireless networked control system based on IEEE 802.11b. The model incorporates the network-induced delay, the packet dropout from IEEE802.11b protocol criteria and logarithmic quantization. Guaranteed cost control problem is further addressed for the wireless networked control systems. With the mathematic model, we design the guaranteed cost controller. The controller design condition is given in the form of matrices inequalities, which can be easily solved by Matlab. The condition can also be used to optimize the cost function. Finally, simulation is done to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
