Abstract
In order to tackle environmental problems, it is widely recognized that "dematerialization" is one of the key issues and "servicification" of economic activities can contribute to "dematerialization." This paper proposes an ecodesign support methodology of services using QFD (Quality Function Deployment) based on the RSP (Receiver State Parameter)-based service model which the authors have already constructed. Four types of service evaluations in an ecodesign process are proposed. Clothes washing services are applied to the proposed methods and their effectiveness is demonstrated.
