The Information Ecological Analyze of Application Plight of Urban Public Information Kiosk in China

Urban public information kiosk is a kind of important devices which be used to provide information service for public. However , in recent years, while the promote process of urban public information kiosks in China, many negative phenomenon such as low participation rate, operation inconvenience, suffered frequent damage and so on are also arise. Analyzed by the perspective of the information ecosystem theory, this paper found that it is certain problem exists among interaction of information, information subject as well as the information environment which leads to above information ecological imbalance state. In order to achieve information ecological balance, government must play a leading role in the construction of urban public information database, public training providing, kiosk management strengthening, and transfer public information kiosks into the city\´s "digital windows" gradually.
