Abstract :
The influence of regional culture and values on the Chinese human resource market has been steadily increasing, but unconsciously. In recent years scholars have studied a variety of phenomena that imply a shift-away from classical explanations of talent flow and human resource patterns. This has led to the coining of some new terms and concepts, such as "Ant Tribe". This tendency towards the study of culture and values is directly related to the Theory of Scenes from the Chicago School of Sociology. In this paper, we apply the Theory of Scenes to Chinese regional human resource management. First, we review the relevant theories and the current situation in China. Then, we construct a cultural framework to study 375 counties in China. After that, we conduct a statistical analysis on the flow of Chinese young talents using Stepwise Regression model. At last, we prove our hypotheses. Some policy suggestions are given in the end based on conclusions made above.
