Abstract :
A reconfigurable hendaca-band monopole antenna designed for operating on GSM (880-960 MHz), GPS (1575 MHz), DCS/PCS/UMTS (1710-2170 MHz), TD-SCDMA/Bluetooth/WiMAX2.6 (2.3 GHz-2.7 GHz),WiMAX3.5 (3.4-3.6 GHz) and WLAN/WiMAX5.8 (4.9-5.9 GHz) services is proposed in this paper. The antenna is composed of an elaborate designed multiband monopole antenna and a pin-diode switch. The measurement results of the prototype antenna show that it has sufficient bandwidth to serve aforementioned multiple communication standards.
