Abstract
In micro-grids, the distributed energy resources are interfaced with the grid by electronic power processors. If these processors perform cooperatively, full exploitation of energy sources can be achieved together with distribution loss reduction and voltage stabilization. This requires optimum local control and dynamic grid mapping capability, which can easily be implemented by a distributed ICT architecture based on local data processing capability and powerline communication.
