Abstract
Some of the relevant design and modeling issues are presented for future integration of mobile telemedicine applications with current cellular standards, and more recently, the third generation of mobile telecommunications systems. This will provide the designers of future telemedical systems, the required concepts for compatibility with existing and the new IMT-2000 band of frequencies (1885-2025) MHz (Uplink) and (2110-2200) MHz (Downlink) cellular standards
