Abstract
In order to study the superficial and deep causes of public work quality accidents, we have collected 27 cases of construction quality accidents of public buildings publicized by the Japanese media. Statistic analysis is conducted by using the cause factor analysis method of failure study. We have discussed the superficial causes of construction quality accidents of public building, and deep impact of changes of construction industrial structure on construction quality, thus providing some references to China´s construction quality control.
