Abstract :
To improve the control effect of the autoleveller of high speed drawing frame, we introduce the work principle and interference factors firstly in this paper. Then, combining with DF-746 type of drawing frame, we presented an ideal scheme minimum variance control (MVC for short), which is used to solve the uncertainty of controlled system. Next, the work principle of MVC is introduced. Finally, the control arithmetic in detail is simulated in MATLAB. The result of simulation showed that, the capability of suppressing noise and interference is enhanced greatly by using minimum variance control theory compared to the ordinary PID control.
