Frequent adverse weather and other emergencies in recent years challenge emergency management capabilities of logistics industry in China. The weakness in emergency management of our country´s logistics industry not only caused huge losses of their own, but also seriously affected downstream industries of the supply chain as well as society and livelihood. On the basis of the analysis of present conditions and problems of emergency management of logistics enterprises in China, drawing in experience of large-scale foreign logistics enterprises, this paper shows the importance and urgency of enhancing the ability of emergency management for logistics enterprises and provides a lot of practical suggestions.
