Abstract :
The present paper presents the simulation results of the linear induction motor in secondary flux oriented frame in order to achieve high performance of the machine. The paper includes transverse edge effect and the effect of the attraction force on the performance of linear induction motor. The response of the linear induction motor drive for these two phenomenons has been compared during starting and speed reversal transient conditions.
