Abstract :
In this paper the optimal current with loss minimization control of interior permanent magnet synchronous machine (IPMSM) is achieved by considering the copper loss and iron loss. The optimal flux given value can be obtained by studying the relations between current and flux. The loss minimization direct torque control (DTC) of IPMSM is realized by using optimal flux given value in the compare unit of the control system, in which the total electrical loss is reduced even though the copper loss is increased. Simulation and experiment results have been presented and good performance has been achieved.
