Abstract
The tissue fluorescence inelastic scattering process is described via a general formulation of the polarization vector of the medium. This innovative approach to fluorescence as a phenomenon of inelastic scattering of electromagnetic radiation is applied for the study of fluorescent spherical structures, under plane wave excitation. The mathematical techniques used together with the fully evaluated theoretical results are presented
