Abstract :
A highly sensitive active bipolar concentric ring sensor was developed for a 31 lead surface Laplacian ECG (LECG) mapping system. The sensor is integrated into a 13 mm square PC board. The active sensor is capable of providing a common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of up to 125 dB, a typical signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 25, and an input impedance of up to 100 GΩ, thereby eliminating the need for skin preparation prior to measurement
