Abstract :
A new online insulation diagnostic method for capacitive-type equipment, a synthetic relative measuring method, is presented in this paper. The basic measuring principle is also put forward. Furthermore, its application to the online monitoring of the dissipation factor of capacitive-type apparatus is discussed. Laboratory and onsite measurement results prove that, by using this method, many influences can be eliminated effectively, and the measuring accuracy can be increased greatly. Therefore, the insulation condition of equipment can be evaluated more scientifically and accurately
