Abstract
AA K.L.M. circuit-based method to model electroacoustic behaviour of multilayer piezoelectric structures is described. It can take into account external elements (such as passive layers and electrical components) and above all any type of connection between layers. Configurations (dual-frequency transducer, Barker Code Transducer and Switchable Barker Code Transducer) are simulated and our results are compared with those of the literature. A multilayer piezoelectric element is also fabricated, characterized and the results compared with our theoretical predictions
