Abstract
A multichannel array-based biosensor has been developed that utilizes the binding capability of antibodies as the recognition element and fluorescence as an indicator of the binding of the analyte under test. The sensor system uses ordinary microscope slides patterned with the recognition antibodies, a diode laser and a thermoelectrically cooled charge-coupled device to image the surface of the slide
