Abstract :
In this paper, studies on design of DC filters of Three Gorges to Changzhou ±500 kV HVDC link are made. The passive DC filter scheme is proposed and validation of the DC filter are made under different DC operation modes and filter failure condition. Also the possibilities of applying an active DC filter to this project are discussed
