Abstract :
In this paper, a new multi-objective formulation for deregulated power industries is proposed, in which the policies adopted by ISO are carefully studied based on the multi-objective analysis. Then, a price-based unit commitment method is formulated to match the bids and decide the generation schedule. The new power market paradigm promotes system security, and fair market competition
