Abstract :
The distance between transmitter and receiver and the roughness of the wall in a rectangular tunnel are the two most important factors, among others, that influence the transmission characteristics of radio rays in the tunnel. Through simulation by using a new rectangular tunnel model, the evidence of how the distance and roughness influence time delay spread σRMS is found.
