Abstract :
The paper describes algorithms, models and software developed for the analysis and control of power system asymmetrical conditions by the symmetrical component method. All types of the single asymmetry are taken as asymmetry sources. The algorithms for reducing dimensionality of the problems of asymmetrical condition analysis using the adaptive equivalenting technique are suggested. Efficiency of the algorithms is illustrated by the calculation results for real power systems
