Abstract :
A novel strategy to determine power system load flow is proposed. In this method, which based on operating pattern theory, the pattern recognition technique is used to determine the load flow and the sensitivity analysis technique is used to modify the load flow results, both using the historical load flow data. Because the mathematical model of each component in the power system is not used in the proposed method, the calculating errors, caused by the inaccuracy of the models and the parameters of these models, can be averted. A test system´s simulation demonstrate the procedure of the proposed method and the results show high accuracy
