Abstract :
This paper presents a training simulation system for substation equipments maintenance using Virtual Reality (VR) techniques. The functionality of this simulation system is illustrated. Then the design and implementation of system architectures is proposed. An operation example of virtual transformer maintenance with this system is given. This presented simulation system would have significant impact on maintenance technology progress and personnel training of power utility.
