Abstract :
Controlling DC-DC power converters is to provide better performance and to ensure the system closed loop stability. Using a simplified averaged model of the converter we propose, in this paper, a design approach of a fuzzy PID. Unlike classical design approach of fuzzy controllers, we choose in our case to fix the controller gains according to the system stability requirements. The proposed approach is also used to make stability maps in the converter-controller parameters space. Validation of the fuzzy logic controller design approach and illustration of its efficiency is done through simulations.
