Abstract :
The radiation of a secondary surveillance radar (SSR) antenna with a radome is composed of transmission radiation and reflection radiation. The vector superposition between the transmission and reflection radiation is a complicated problem. In this paper, by using the hybrid method of aperture-integration and surface-integration technique with the ray tracing technique, the radiation of an SSR linear array with an ellipsoid radome is analyzed. The calculated result is compared with the experiment and good agreement. is obtained.
