Abstract :
We developed a non-invasive treatment system for urinary incontinence using Continuous Magnetic Stimulation (CMS) and confirmed the effect of CMS on urethral closure in healthy volunteer. The maximum urethral pressure was 20-30 cm H2O before applying the Burst Continuous Magnetic Stimulation (BCMS), 40-50 cm H2O when the BCMS was applied during the first 60-second, and 20-30 cm H2O when no BCMS was applied during the next 30-second. This result suggests that the CMS was effective on urethral closure in healthy volunteers during long-time stimulation
