Keynote Address

The paradigm in ICT has been rapidly evolved from the system tools simply operating hardware devices to more human-friendly and smarter convergence solutions helping to enhance the quality of everyday life. Media screens such as TV connected to the Internet enable interactive, personalized and customized content services, improving the accessibility of a rich collection of online information. Mobile office and smart working technologies significantly enhance both productivity and the life quality of employees. Thanks to cloud services, people can access personal data, diverse applications and services anytime, anywhere, on any device. The emergence of ubiquitous mobile devices accelerates the convergence of IT and the human life. The network operators have led to these recent IT innovations by extending their business to smart convergence services. This talk covers KT´s vision as a smart convergence operator and corresponding research activities.
